Cluster Association for the Naval Industry to build three barges for Montes del Plata
On July 7th 2011 the Cluster Association for the Naval Industry and Montes del Plata signed an agreement with the support of our firm that will enable the building of three new national barges. This marks a new impulse for Cerro’s Logistic Naval Pole. By means of this fluvial transport modality MDP will provide wood logs to the cellulose pulp mill currently being built in Colonia. Each barge will accommodate 5 thousand tons and will be able to transport a cargo equivalent to 170 truckloads.

The Uruguayan - German Chamber of Commerce and Industry held on May 4th 2011 in the German embassy a Business Club event about development of new infrastructure in Uruguay. Cluster association for the naval Uruguayan industry at full speed
On Wednesday May 14th 2011 at the Club Naval took place the formal launching of the cluster association for the naval Uruguayan industry as an institution that will lead the work both in the private and public sector to improve these companies competitiveness. The Industry, Energy and Mining minister, engineer Roberto Kreimerman opened the event in which was present the Defense minister Luis Rosadilla. Media coverage about the Bom Gosto – Leitbom merger that created Lácteos Brasil S.A, the biggest private dairy company in Brazil, with production capacity of 8.3 daily millions of milk. Castellán Consultancy Lawyers assists the company in the installation of a plant in San José project.
AJE Uruguay – AJE Cádiz virtual business meeting
AJE Uruguay together with the Emprender program and AJE Cádiz (Spain) held the first virtual business meeting on April 13th 2011 in presence of lawyer Santiago Castellán at the building of the Uruguayan Chamber of Industry. This event helped liaising 10 Uruguayan companies with 10 Spanish ones.
