KIA MOTORS URUGUAY inaugurated new Headquarters and announced resumption of national production

KIA MOTORS URUGUAY inaugurated on Thursday, July 28, 2016 its new administrative and service headquarters located at Rambla Baltasar Brum 3764, after an estimated investment of US$ 10 million.

At this event, which was attended by authorities from KIA Motors Brazil and Latin America, as well as Ministers Carolina Cosse (Industry, Energy and Mining) and Ernesto Murro (Labor and Social Security), it was announced that industrial activity will resume in Uruguay, with plans to resume local production of the Bongo model starting in September.

This means the reactivation of approximately 400 direct and indirect jobs associated with the production of this vehicle.

The new facility has a large showroom that includes customer service, parts distribution center, workshop, and a training center for its dealerships.
